I am Van Lagestein (born Leendert Geelhoed, 1944). I was the director of Galerie De Mangelgang (1965-1975) and Corps de Garde (1975-1985), both in Groningen (NL), and, from 1988-1990, of Inka digital arts, located in Amsterdam.
I worked as a producer, curator and collaborator with visual and conceptual artists, composers and performers, including Vito Acconci, Michael Asher, Barbara Bloom, Eric Bogosian, Jonathan Borofsky, Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, Coleen Fitzgibbon, Jack Goldstein, Peter Gordon, Dan Graham, Pieter Holstein, Alison Knowles, Paul McMahon, Charlemagne Palestine, Lon Robbé, Leeny Sack, David Salle, Van Schley, Michael Smith, Robin Winters, Z'ev ...
