'This is a recording of mechanically produced music from an installation in Corps de Garde, Groningen, Holland, October 1981.
Five electric guitars hang on a wall. Sound is produced by the impact of rotating rubber strings, of a sabbre saw, and of standing waves in four ropes hanging across the wall. Machine speeds vary.' (Liner notes)
This was the first of an ongoing series of installations and concerts that after Remko's death is going to be continued with Samuel Vriezen as the concept's new interpreter.
